Under the supervision of founder and artistic director Abe Rybeck, Boston’s Theater Offensive has grown from an unruly gaggle of guerrilla artists to include the whole blinding spectrum that is queer culture. Drawing from the success of the United Fruit Company, a gay men’s performance group, The Theater Offensive continues to blow minds with the annual Out on the Edge Festival, field performers A Street Theater Named Desire and the OUT True Colors Youth Theater, an outreach troupe currently ensuring that the next generation of talent can stay on the Offensive.
