Ori Gersht

Tel Aviv native and London resident Ori Gersht’s artwork is sometimes deeply personal, sometimes political, but always innovative. Three words: exploding floral arrangements. Working across multiple photographic mediums—from photos of the Golan Heights, where the Israeli army holds artillery practice, to a video of a bullet demolishing a pomegranate in sweet slow motion—Gersht has been ripping through the traditional boundaries of film at galleries from New York to New Zealand.
