If the image of the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin dangling his one-month old son near the mouth of a drooling croc still haunts you, photographer Robin Schwartz may not be your cup of tea. In a recent collection, Schwartz captures searingly sharp snapshots of her daughter cavorting with all manner of exotic animals. Amelia, the artist’s muse and offspring, plays with elephants, monkeys, camels and kangaroos in the photographs as though they were daydream characters.
