Alternative comic Val Myers has made herself known hosting El Cid’s weekly Garage Comedy Night in Silverlake, L.A. You can catch her giving “Classy Comedy Haircuts” or reenacting her September 11 experience using smell, touch, foley and sound effects. In her show Junkin’ with Val and Dave, she documented her travels in a ’76 El Camino across the U.S. buying flea market items that she sold on eBay to people in Japan. It was on TSO (Turner South, a division of TBS) for four seasons and won two Emmys for the new category “interactive entertainment.”
