Elke Kramer’s jewelry is whimsy at its finest—a brilliant kaleidoscopic of Deco geometry, fin de siècle wallpaper patterns and Rococo foppery. The Sydney-native launched her own line in 2004 and has been synergizing diverse ideas and influences into wearable art ever since. The neckpieces, bracelets, pendants and rings in her new collection, “Trompe L’Oeil,” promise to be every bit as fun the objects that inform them: favorite vintages toys like Rubik’s cubes, board games, segmented snakes and more.
