Robert Siegel’s writerly range is exceedingly wide—he worked as editor-in-chief of The Onion, and his first screenplay became Darren Aronofsky’s Oscar-nominated drama, The Wrestler. Siegel has followed up this success with his directorial debut, Big Fan, about a sports nut dealing with being beaten up by his favorite player.
