Consistent, reasonably- priced American fare offers something for carnivores and veggies alike amid a sleek setting. Both bubbes and hipsters are at home here, and there’s usually a fair share of both. Jen Aniston reportedly went there almost every night while filming Marley and Me nearby, and GQ and The New York Times’ Frank Bruni have penned their praise for Michael’s food—genuinely unpretentious, satisfying and fresh.
