Yarkulkes on Goyim

Photo courtesy of AP/Wide World Photos Text by Mike Sacks and Sarah Czeladnicki
(excerpted from original article)
Is there a more endearing sight to behold than a goy struggling valiantly with the simple mechanics of a fashion accessory that comes so naturally to you and me, attempting (if only for a few minutes or hours) to bridge the sartorial gap between the Land of the Gentile and the World of the Jew? Sure, there’s the odd goy who might, for whatever reason, wind up wearing a tallis—that’s fun to watch. And then, of course, there’s always the goy, who—after a long night out on the town—might awaken to find himself totally nude, save for tefillin. But that’s extremely rare and seldomly captured on film. No, for pure guilty pleasure, nothing beats a yarmulke on a goy.
