The World’s Second-Best Second-Rate Action Hero
I just got wind of a new movie starring your favorite aging, Belgian, action movie superstar, Jean-Claude Van Damme, that’s called—no joke—JCVD. The film is a parody about the rare breed of actor known as "the aging action movie superstar," who past a certain age, has limited choices left in his life. Jean-Claude plays “a version” of himself in the movie, but I have a sinking feeling that the simulacrum is pretty spot on. I seriously cannot believe this movie actually got made (and how ridiculously high were the screenwriters when they wrote the damn thing???)!
I wonder if this will open the floodgates for analogous movie like “SS,” “BW” and “JC.”
