Steve Martin: Banjo Man

In conjunction with his latest movie, Steve Martin has released an original bluegrass album titled, "The Crow: New Songs for the Five-String Banjo." I am generally opposed to any actor crossing over into musical career, but there is something very endearing about this project. I would like to believe this is his apology for the movie he’s thrusting into the world.

Reuters reports, "Martin recently told reporters it was now or never for the banjo CD, which features performers including Dolly Parton."

I’ve always been curious about Bill Paxton and Andrew Rosenthal’s “Holy Cow” album from back in the day. If someone wants to buy it for me, I’ll send you some Klonopin in return.
