Ricky Gervais Takes on Hitler

In anticipation of Ricky Gervais’ new film, The Invention of Lying, starring Jonah Hill, Jennifer Garner, and Rob Lowe, we thought it was time to revisit our favorite sketch by the ex-Office star. In the clip, Gervais recounts a conversation between Nietzsche and Hitler—Nietzsche is mortified to learn that Hitler interpreted his texts as a green light to kill 6 million Jews. Hitler sheepishly explains that he won’t kill anymore…well anymore Jews that is. If The Invention of Lying is as funny as the clip above, we’re looking forward to the Fall, when the film is set for release.
