Huckabee and Goliath?
What is with everyone, including Huckabee himself, referring to the Huckabee campaign in David and Goliath terms? Okay, maybe he doesn’t have Mitt’s millions or McCain’s war record, but this guy has the religious right’s vote locked down, ten years of experience as a popular and successful governor, and plenty of pundits hinting at a McCain-Huckabee ticket. Not to mention the fact that we’re pretty sure David never weighed in at 300 pounds. Cheap shot? Maybe so, but we’re up against a giant here.

Nobody likes a jowly evangelical, but the glimmer in his eye in that right photo is even more disturbing. Maybe it’s just the light, but Chubby Cheeks Huckabee beat Lazy Eye Huckabee every time.

That glimmer just shows that he’s got the holy spirit. If that’s not proof enough, just listen to his generous smattering of biblical analogies. He’s bubbling over with the effervescent light of the lord….what else could it be?
