For us, getting Gilbert Gottfried to share some of his material at one of our events required dinner and cab fare. But when the Friars Club threw a book party last night for the recently released More Old Jewish Comedians, Gil didn’t need much encouragement to show face (nor did others like Jerry Stiller and Larry Storch, apparently).

Then again, the soiree did provide an open wine bar and pigs in a blanket, according to our partygoer source.
