Radar has joined in on the conversation about American Apparel overlord Dov Charney with a first-person account from a one-time AA model. In the piece, writer Claire Salinda rolls her eyes at the puritanical criticism of Dov’s sexy (sexist?) methods and dishes out a healthy serving of "boys will be boys" rationalizing. According to Salinda, "He seemed just like any other dude who loves soda and hot girls, except he created the perfect T-shirt and he likes sex … a lot. Which, really, what normal guy doesn’t?" Well, oooookay. But what about the rumor that Dov hands out vibrators as gifts to his employees? Yes, Salinda confirms, and was the best gift she’s ever received. "Anyone who thinks getting a guaranteed orgasm as a gift is gross is lying. Straight up lying." But… from your boss? Well, at least an article in Radar is an efficient way to inform all future employers of your holiday wish list.
