Kelly Clarkson was recently caught on YouTube speaking some Hebrew, by which we mean wrapping her mouth (yikes) around some guttural sounds, one of which at least slightly resembled "shalom." Sure, she prefaced her linguistic exploit with a qualifier ("I’m gonna suck this up!"), and certainly she struggled with the pronunciation, but it’s hard to pretend we’re not a little impressed.

Wonder if her next ancient language is Latin?
