Devendra + Natalie?

The king of all things weirdo-folk, Devendra Banhart has been increasingly appearing on our jewdar lately. First, comes last year’s doo-wop love song "Shabop Shalom" on Smokey Rolls Down Thunder Canyon (XI Recordings). Now comes word that the video for "Carmenista" will be staring noneother than Natalie Portman, last seen upsetting the Hasidic community of Williamsburg.

By the way, it’s “starring.” Granted, whenever Natalie Portman’s around, staring is something we all want to do!
