Apparently, Madonna has been hosting late-night visits from Rodriguez in her Central Park West apartment, which have "all the doormen talking." Further fueling speculation, Rodriguez attended Madonna’s April 30 NYC concert and Madonna sat in A-Rod’s seats at a Yankees game on June 22. Meanwhile, a ringless Guy Ritchie, arrived in New York City from London on Monday after almost a month apart from his family.

This is a match made in celebrity heaven. Madonna likes athletes (she’s been linked to Charles Barkley, Dennis Rodman and Jose Canseco) and has always been into Latin men (she had Carlos Leon sire her first daughter, Lourdes). Moreover, she and the Yankee third baseman have tons common: both have written children’s books, seek solace in the words of New Age feel-goodniks (the Kabbalah Centre’s Rav Berg and "Life Coach" Jim Fannin, respectively) and are obsessed with their own images, painfully self-conscious that the earth they tred upon is also a stage.
