Kabbal-huh?
Filmmaker Guy Ritchie recently said that he doesn’t follow the Kabbalah and that he does not understand it as a religion or a belief system. He has, however, made a documentary about the faith in which he examines its appeal to people like his wife, Madonna. If he can find a way to bring back the gun-toting, diamond robbing Hasids from Snatch, I’ll be there opening weekend; otherwise, I think I’d have more fun watching a documentary of a rabbi growing out his payos, in real time.
