Today, the Original Soup Man (i.e. the inspiration for Seinfeld’s “Soup Nazi”) reopens its doors in midtown Manhattan, despite the fact that nobody in their right mind eats soup in July (except for gazpacho – that shit is delicious). While we probably won’t be ordering the Mulligatawny until at least October, we’d like to wish Al Yeganeh the best of luck in his future endeavors.
