Heeb headed to San Francisco with its critically-acclaimed storytelling series and with the help of Porch Light opened up with a performance by singer-songwriter Amy Tobin. The night featured stories by noir novelist Peter Plate, Charming Hostess mastermind Jewlia Eisenberg, filmmaker/actress Emily Morse, NPR commentator Dayvid Figler, DJ and performance artist Polywog and Killing My Lobster’s Paul Charney. Afterwards, we headed downstairs to Cafe du Nord for a release party for Charming Hostess (Tzaddik) and a special live performance by Heeb‘s favorite accordion player, So-Called.
