The New Jew Review and Modular Mood Records celebrated the release of the new issue of Heeb and coronated their first monthly lounge party at the Knitting Factory Tap Bar with art installations, film projections, impromptu dance performances, an erotic balloon twister on stilts, delicious whitefish sandwiches courtesy of Russ & Daughter, the hip hop, break beats, Ashkenazi samples, and Yemenite melodies of dj handler, and an impromptu performance by the hasidic high stepper, Matisyahu.
