Little girls and confused little boys everywhere can’t wait to get their hands on Rebecca Rubin, the new Jewish addition to the American Girl family. Apparently, neither can the FBI.
That’s right, despite painstaking efforts by the American Girl company to tailor every detail of Rubin’s character to the Anti-Defamation League’s liking, they still managed to give the doll the same name as a wanted fugitive: Rebecca Rubin, alias "Little Missy," wanted for conspiracy to commit arson of United States Government Property. The reward for Rubin’s capture currently stands at $50,000.
And you thought Rubin Jr.’s $95 price tag was steep.
